It’s only March and I’ve ticked one of the things off my bucket list for the year.
I’ve got my name on a comedy poster.
The accompanying blurb describes me as “Newcomer” which makes me sound young and exciting.
The punters may be disappointed by the reality though with Brad Oakes as the headliner, there’s at least some competition for the title of old timer.
I was definitely the oldest on the program when I entered RAW a few weeks ago (the Melbourne International Comedy Festival open mic competition).
Now if someone will just take a photo of me that makes me look young, fun and mildly attractive, I might aim for getting my face on a poster later in the year.
Of course I’d also have to write some more material.
